A garden center, florist and landscaper in Bedford, New York. A new identity, its first full website, and reasons to visit: seasonal evenings, postcards and email.

The situation.

A family business since 1946, whose sales happen at the counter, on the phone and at the consultation table.

The brief.

Get more neighbors to call, book or walk in.

01

One name, three trades.

Landscaping, wedding florals and the garden center had been presented as separate things. The new identity and Shopify site present them as one family business, with a phone number on every page.

Found in the next town over.

We rebuilt the site’s foundations in April, then added a page for each town it delivers to, from Katonah to Chappaqua, linked to guides written by the people who do the work.

03

Season by season.

Thanksgiving, holiday trees and an open house, each with its own page, post and send.

The mailbox first, then the inbox.

Postcards to nearby homes do the selling, and email and search follow them up. Mailed households get first claim on event places.
